Third NYC Edition Showcase & Gala Night

Join us for the third New York City edition of Starry Night Tango — a distinctive cultural experience where tango students and maestros share the stage in a professionally curated showcase, celebrating the art of learning, performance, and community.

This year’s edition expands into a full evening experience, bringing together stage performance, a special Master Class with world-renowned tango artist Guillermina Quiroga, live music, and social dance in one continuous celebration of Argentine tango.

The night begins with a curated showcase, featuring students and teachers presenting collective works and Pro-Am pieces in an elegant theatrical setting.

Following the performance, guests are invited to participate in a special pre-milonga Master Class led by Guillermina Quiroga, one of the most celebrated artists in Argentine tango. This unique class creates a bridge between the stage and the social dance floor before the evening continues into the Gala Milonga.

The Gala Milonga features live music by the Maurizio Najt Tango Quartet — a rare and highly anticipated musical experience in the New York tango scene.

Live tango orchestras are rarely featured in social milongas, making this a unique

opportunity to experience tango music and dance in its most authentic form.

Led by renowned pianist Maurizio Najt, a central figure in the New York tango revival, the quartet brings together internationally acclaimed musicians, including Latin Grammy-winning bandoneonist Rodolfo Zanetti, with performances across major stages such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and international touring circuits.

Throughout the milonga, the quartet accompanies both the social dancing and our signature Maestro Rounds — where teachers first dance with each other and then share the floor with participating students, creating one of the most vibrant and inclusive moments of the night.

More than an event, Starry Night Tango is a space where performance, education, live music, and social dance come together — connecting artists, students, and audiences in one shared experience.
