Tango Lab

Join the Milonguero Feedback Lab

The Milonguero Feedback is a new Starry Night Tango experience created for social dancers who want to deepen their tango without performing or competing.

Participants will dance in ronda to short musical excerpts and receive private written feedback focused on the Tango Pista criteria.

What Feedback Participants Receive

Registered participants will receive private written feedback after the event. Feedback may include observations on:

  • Embrace and connection

  • Walking and elegance

  • Musicality

  • Circulation and ronda awareness

  • Floorcraft and use of space

  • Communication within the couple

  • Interpretation and adaptation to the music

Who It Is For

This lab is for dancers who love the social floor, the embrace, and the ronda — including those who may be curious about Tango Pista, preparing for future preliminaries, or simply looking for an external perspective on their dance.

How It Works

Participants will dance in small rounds to three short musical excerpts representing three distinct orchestral styles. Each orchestra highlights a different aspect of social tango:

Di Sarli — elegance, walking, pause, and control
D’Arienzo — rhythm, clarity, precision, and energy
Pugliese — dynamics, interpretation, and musical expression

Registration:

$60 per registered participant

Includes:

• Participation in the Milonguero Feedback Lab
• Private written feedback after the event
• Access to the Showcase
• Access to the Pre-Milonga Master Class
• Access to the Starry Night Gala Milonga
