About Starry Night Tango

A Cultural Initiative with National Impact

Starry Night Tango is a groundbreaking artistic and cultural platform that promotes and preserves Argentine tango in the United States through a powerful blend of education, performance, and community celebration.

Founded and directed by Argentine dancer and teacher Martín Almirón, the project creates a professional stage experience where tango students and teachers perform together, highlighting the educational process as an essential part of cultural transmission.

Unlike traditional tango shows, Starry Night Tango democratizes access to the stage, celebrates pedagogical leadership, and fosters intercultural dialogue through the performing arts.

This is not just an event—it’s a growing cultural platform with long term impact. By bringing tango into prestigious venues and bridging diverse communities, Starry Night Tango contributes to the cultural life of the U.S. in meaningful ways:

  • Introducing a replicable, innovative model for tango presentation

  • Elevating Latin American cultural heritage on stage

  • Strengthening local artistic communities across cities
