About the Event
Starry Night Tango returns to New York City for its 3rd Edition, a distinctive cultural experience where students and teachers share the stage in a professionally curated showcase.
The evening begins with a performance featuring collective works and Pro-Am pieces, highlighting the educational process as part of tango’s cultural transmission.
Following the showcase, the celebration continues with a Gala Milonga featuring live music by the Maurizio Najt Tango Quartet — a rare opportunity to experience tango with a live orchestra in a social dance setting.
Throughout the milonga, the orchestra accompanies both the social dance floor and our signature Maestro Rounds, where teachers and students from different schools come together in one of the most vibrant and inclusive moments of the night.
